 Turf-Tec Tall Pocket Tubular Soil Sampler Stainless Steel - 1/2 inch Diameter x 21 inches tall

Introducing the new Turf-Tec Tall Tubular Soil Sampler - 1/2 inch diameter sampler (13 mm). This tool that is the thinnest diameter tubular soil sampler in the business. It's entirely made of Stainless Steel. The unit removes a soil sample cores - 6 inches deep at a time. Simply remove from the ground, empty the soil and repeat the sampling process until the 21 inch depth is obtained.

 Unit is an ideal for deep probing sand golf greens or sand based athletic fields all the way down to the drainage or gravel layer. Lower levels can also be tested for salt accumulation. Overall unit is 1/2 inch diameter X 21 inches tall.
Quickly inspect the soil for moisture content, root depth or any other physical characteristics. In addition, the Turf-Tec Pocket Tubular Soil Sampler - 1/2" Diameter is manufactured out of Stainless Steel so you can also use it for soil sample collection without the worry of contamination from iron, copper or zinc.

This tool is ideal for checking the bottom layers of sand based greens and athletic fields to examine if salts are accumulating above the gravel or drainage layer.  It is also useful in inspecting water holding capacities of perched water tables.
